On May 3, 2023, the Clean Water Summit Partners will host a free Zoom webinar on the reissued statewide Sanitary Sewer Systems Waste Discharge Requirements Order (Order) that the State Water Resources Control Board adopted in late 2022, and which becomes effective on June 5, 2023. This event is designed specifically for collection system legally responsible officials, data submitters, managers, and operators, and will cover:

• Spill Reporting. Understanding different categories of spills, changes to spill reporting forms, and techniques for crews’ overflow volume estimation;
• Coordination with stormwater agencies, including how to maximize the use of stormwater conveyance systems as containment; and
• Re-Enrollment by the June 4 deadline, including designation of Legally Responsible Official(s).
