The Bay Area Biosolids Coalition (BABC) provides support on regional biosolids issues, projects and proposed regulations and legislation. This includes support for the development and maintenance of reliable, cost-effective, sustainable biosolids management options for San Francisco Bay Area wastewater agencies. As of July 2025, the Bay Area Biosolids Coalition serves as BACWA’s Biosolids Committee (see March 2025 BACWA Board Resolution). The committee also maintains a separate website, Bay Area Biosolids Coalition.
