SUMMARY:Biosolids Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the next BACWA Biosolids Committee meeting on October 19\, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the William and Cloy Codiga Resource Recovery Center (CR2C) at Stanford. We will tour the first-of-its-kind pilot-scale testing facility\, which uses novel core wastewater treatment infrastructure including the SAF-MBR\, an anaerobic secondary treatment system that could yield energy-positive wastewater treatment and substantial reductions in biosolids. The facility also features test beds for flexible analysis of mobile treatment systems and novel sensors fed multiple grades of water. We will hear about how the CR2C at Stanford eases the path to commercialization for promising technologies by providing a unique\, low-risk proving ground.
